Created to Create
Have you ever walked into a store knowing you could buy anything you wanted?
There’s a confidence that rises when you know you have what it takes. You don’t hesitate. You don’t doubt. You don’t window shop—you walk in like you belong there.
That’s the difference between a window shopper and a History Maker.
Window shoppers stare from the outside, wishing. Real shoppers walk through the door with full authority.
The same is true when it comes to your potential.
When you know what’s inside of you—when you’re convinced that you’re equipped—you stop waiting on the perfect opportunity and start creating one.
You were created in the image of God—and God is a Creator.
That means creativity is not just a talent—it’s your DNA.
You were made to speak, design, build, and bring new things into existence. History Makers don’t wait around hoping something works out—they innovate. If it doesn’t exist yet? We create it.
My mentor Kary Oberbrunner once said:
Have you ever said the word? Do you know what it means? It means, “I create as I speak.” I love that. Words are powerful. This is why Abraham Joshua Heschel said, “Words Create Worlds.”
That’s why Proverbs 18:21 reminds us:
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” (ESV)
If you’re stuck, discouraged, or frustrated by your lack of resources or opportunity—start by listening to your words.
What are you declaring over your life?
What are you creating with your mouth?
History Makers don’t just speak to survive—they speak to build.
So speak faith. Speak life. Speak vision.
And then get to work.
Create books.
Create businesses.
Create healthy relationships.
Create connection.
Create hope.
Create life.
Don’t wait for permission. You already have it.
Now go create.
